Angelica Panganiban is a Filipino-American actress model TV host and comedian. Angelica Hale fell ill at age four, suffering from strep throat and pneumonia due to an infection caused by a bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston was able to place her on ECMO assistance for lifesaving treatments. The patient suffered from multiple organ failures, and her kidneys did not fully recover. Her life became a new routine of hemodialysis followed by the peritoneal dilation. After having spent 80 days in the hospital her condition changed from near death to a long recovery journey. Angelica had been on dialysis for a year-and-ahalf before finally being able to undergo the most important operation of her life: a transplant of the kidney. Her mother was the one who was the one to donate her kidney. Angelica Hale underwent a successful kidney transplantation along together with her mother on 13th of September 2013. The surgery was performed in Emory University Hospital, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale pursued her dream to become a famous person for years after.
